Deepen into a journey of transformation, connection and possibility.
You are warmly invited into this meaningful adventure—a profoundly relational process that guides you through an embodied map. This journey blends creative expression through art, writing, and movement with energy healing and somatic embodiment, emboldened by trauma recovery and mindfulness practices. And it’s all infused with a touch of deep magic.
At the core of the Heart of Flow method is a pathway into transformation, but here we don’t do it by force- it’s facilitated in the most nourishing way and includes the element of playfulness to help balance the rougher edges of our journey.
It helps you digest and integrate big emotions, release pain gently and cultivate inner stability.
But most of all- it opens us to joy.
Hi, I’m Maya-
I’m so delighted
to connect with you.
My work with you centres on helping you create a life of stability and joy.
Heart of Flow came about through a decade and half of personal inner work, education, training and leaping into the unknown.
Ultimately the blueprint was fuelled by my own desire to stop living from a place of unprocessed emotions and trauma that were running my life to stepping into a life that had the capacity for joy and living with the freedom of who I am. A life where I didn’t have to try to suppress or avoid my emotions but could actually feel them and feel safe enough in my body. It was born out of my own heartbreak and grief.
I’ve been attuned to other people’s emotions all my life- I could feel them physically and emotionally. When I started working with others on their healing path I realized I could track their conditioning, trauma and pain and this ability helped me create a map to help them process and integrate it in a way that brought deep freedom and simultaneously expanded their capacity to feel the depth of their emotion. Emotional connection is what helps us create lives that are meaningful and full of purpose.
The Heart of Flow Method makes space for all parts of you. I’m not kidding when I say that.
Instead of fighting with parts of ourselves, it helps us collaborate with them- to understand what they need to feel supported to get unstuck from patterns, rewire our conditioning and integrate our trauma so that we’re not perpetually at war with it.
Let’s talk about joy.
The kind of joy that makes you feel expansive and uplifts your heart.
In order to allow ourselves to feel joy we need to feel safe enough in our bodies and be able to feel our emotions- without that ability joy doesn’t have room to grow or be fully experienced.
That's what I’m here to support you with.
I’m a Trauma Informed Coach and Facilitator devoted to supporting individuals and groups through The Heart of Flow method.
I’ve been working with trauma since 2007, when I started volunteering with the Toronto Distress Center first as a Distress Respondent and then for grief facilitation for survivors of suicide and homicide loss. Supporting others in their most raw, vulnerable selves I realized how powerful connection is and how much resilience the human spirit contains.
I almost became a psychotherapist, studying Spiritual Psychotherapy for over a year and then realized that the relational balance of authority in psychotherapist and client dynamics didn’t align with my personal values (no shade to therapists). From there I trained for hundreds of hours while spending thousands more on my own inner work, in trauma recovery, somatic embodiment, energy healing and creative facilitation. Energy healing accessed places and wounds in my consciousness where nothing else did.
My journey as a Priestess of the feminine mysteries is woven into the tapestry of the Heart of Flow method. This sacred path has imbued my practice with wisdom that comes from a deeper well than I could reach into on my own.
I have also had the privilege of working with survivors of sexual assault, gendered violence and religious persecution. Working deeply with others to reclaim dignity and self expression are a big part of my path.

I felt so incredibly safe and listened to when working with Maya. Her intuition and intentionality allowed me to open and ground into states of safety I have rarely experienced with another person present. The session was not only profound, but fun and joyful and I have come back to the practices she shared with me time and time again. My session with Maya reminded me that healing doesn’t have to be scary or complicated, and that the body is wise in knowing what how to come into a state of regulation and safety. Maya helped me listen and attune to that wisdom in a way I am so profoundly grateful for.
I just wanted to thank you for the most beautiful and affirming sessions that we have undertaken in this nurturing collaboration. I honestly haven’t had a session where I felt so seen, secure, loved and held.
Your gentle encouragement and space holding allowed me to approach things that needed to be looked at, to have awareness around pattens within my system that were activating and then supporting, to access my inner resources and find and foster a deep connection to my essential self.
I love that you also inject humour at the most appropriate times ..this laughter was such a healing balm. You have tremendous healing capacity and hold space with so much tenderness.
I also enjoyed very much the way we integrated the work together and how you use art to bring things out of my soul to paper. Pretty niche. Some weeks we let movement emerge spontaneously and had dance party where I felt self consciousness leave my body. The work we did feels divine. It has a Godly quality. Very special. Very transformative.
I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to be in your heart space. I have learnt a lot from you Maya and will highly recommend you. Such a powerful and compassionate healer, coach and person with perfect pitch and attunement.
My sessions with Maya have been imperative to my personal growth. In her loving guidance - I was able to access emotions that were keeping me trapped and disconnected from my true self.
Her approach is gentle, yet powerful. I loved using colouring, dancing and writing to channel my emotions - and integrate them in a way that was meaningful.
After each session I felt more alive and more accepting of myself as a human being worthy of exploring her light and her darkness.
My life transitioned quickly - especially after the third session - and my old patterns blocking me from accessing the love in my heart shifted quickly. I have been able to form deeper connections, explore more self care and admire my inner child more than ever before.
Furthermore - I learned how to embody my own emotions more holistically. Maya made me present to my gait when I was housing a certain feeling and held space for me to utilize my body through dance to effectively represent my inner world and what was occurring deeply.
I highly recommend Maya’s work if you are looking to process and integrate emotions you have been suppressing for a long time.
