Deepen into a journey of transformation, connection and possibility.

Where Growth and Healing Meet Depth, Creativity, and Transformation

This is a warm invitation into a journey that meets you with deep care, exactly as you are- blending trauma informed coaching, somatic practices, creative expression, and energy healing, to support a connection with yourself that feels safe, deep, and alive.

Whether you're moving through deep wounds or feeling stuck in emotions and patterns that seem hard to shift, this process gently supports transformation while holding space for big emotions, with a touch of embodied magic.

This work isn’t just about personal change. It’s about meeting life’s challenges with more ease, resilience, and self-trust. In uncertain times, it offers a way to root into your inner strength, cultivate safety in your body, come home to yourself, and create space for joy to be woven into your daily life.

Hi, I’m Maya-

I’m so delighted

to connect with you.

My work is here to support you in living with greater authenticity, joy, and intimacy. It offers a compassionate space to navigate life’s changes with kindness and presence.

Heart of Flow emerged through a decade and a half of personal inner work, education, training and professional experiences- but also, and maybe most importantly, from a willingness to leap into the unknown.

It was fuelled by a desire to stop living from my own unprocessed trauma and step into a life rooted in joy, freedom, and self-trust. Birthed from my own journey through heartbreak, terror and grief, as well as the longing to break free and truly be myself. A life where I didn’t have to try to suppress or avoid my emotions but could actually feel them and access safety in my body.

Now, it forms the foundation of my work, offering steadiness amidst the chaos and uncertainty of the world for myself and those I support.

I’ve been deeply attuned to emotions-my own and others’- for as long as I can remember. Over time, I learned how to translate this sensitivity into a powerful approach to supporting others. As I began working with people, I discovered I could track their patterns, trauma, and emotional landscapes in a way that allowed them to see themselves more clearly. This ability shaped the Heart of Flow Method into a process where healing is not just about integrating the past- it’s about cultivating the capacity to truly live.

The Heart of Flow Method makes space for all parts of you. I’m not kidding when I say that.

Instead of fighting with parts of ourselves, it teaches us to collaborate-to understand what each part of us needs to feel supported. This allows us to release patterns, rewire conditioning, and integrate trauma in a way that brings true freedom.

Let’s talk about joy.

The kind of joy that makes you feel expansive and uplifts your heart.

To fully experience joy we first need to feel safer in our bodies and have access to our emotions. Without that, joy struggles to take root. This work is here to help you find that safety, so joy becomes something sustainable-not just a fleeting moment, but an embodied way of being.

That's what I’m here to support you with.

I’m a Trauma Informed Coach and Facilitator devoted to supporting individuals and groups through The Heart of Flow method.

Since 2007, I’ve worked with trauma-beginning with volunteering at the Toronto Distress Centre as a crisis respondent and later as a grief facilitator for survivors of suicide and homicide loss. Supporting others in their most raw, vulnerable selves shaped my understanding of how powerful connection is, and the immense resilience of the human spirit.

I studied Spiritual Psychotherapy for over a year, nearly becoming a psychotherapist, but ultimately the traditional therapy model didn’t align with my values around relational balance. Instead, I immersed myself in thousands of hours of deep training in trauma recovery, somatic embodiment, energy healing, and creative facilitation. Energy healing, in particular, accessed places in my consciousness where nothing else could reach.

My path and training in the sacred wisdom of deep feminine traditions is woven into my work. This ancient lineage has infused my practice with nourishment, drawing from a deeper well than I could reach into on my own- bringing grounding and harmony to the way I care for myself and others.

I have also had the privilege of also supporting survivors of sexual assault, gendered violence, and religious persecution. At the heart of my path is helping people reclaim their dignity and self-expression.

My clients have described my work as:
- An unwaveringly supportive space where deep emotions can surface and be met with care
- A place where self-worth is restored, leading to healthier relationships
- A bridge between healing and creativity, bringing fluidity into transformation
- A process that combines depth with playfulness, making healing feel expansive

A Note on Scope: While deeply supportive, this work is not therapy and is not a substitute for psychotherapy. I am not a licensed therapist or mental health provider. If you are experiencing significant mental health challenges, or acute psychosis, I encourage you to seek out an appropriate clinician for support.

I felt so incredibly safe and listened to when working with Maya. Her intuition and intentionality allowed me to open and ground into states of safety I have rarely experienced with another person present. The session was not only profound, but fun and joyful and I have come back to the practices she shared with me time and time again. My session with Maya reminded me that healing doesn’t have to be scary or complicated, and that the body is wise in knowing what how to come into a state of regulation and safety. Maya helped me listen and attune to that wisdom in a way I am so profoundly grateful for.

I just wanted to thank you for the most beautiful and affirming sessions that we have undertaken in this nurturing collaboration. I honestly haven’t had a session where I felt so seen, secure, loved and held.

Your gentle encouragement and space holding allowed me to approach things that needed to be looked at, to have awareness around pattens within my system that were activating and then supporting, to access my inner resources and find and foster a deep connection to my essential self.

I love that you also inject humour at the most appropriate times ..this laughter was such a healing balm. You have tremendous healing capacity and hold space with so much tenderness.

I also enjoyed very much the way we integrated the work together and how you use art to bring things out of my soul to paper. Pretty niche. Some weeks we let movement emerge spontaneously and had dance party where I felt self consciousness leave my body. The work we did feels divine. It has a Godly quality. Very special. Very transformative.

I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to be in your heart space. I have learnt a lot from you Maya and will highly recommend you. Such a powerful and compassionate healer, coach and person with perfect pitch and attunement.

My sessions with Maya have been imperative to my personal growth. In her loving guidance - I was able to access emotions that were keeping me trapped and disconnected from my true self.

Her approach is gentle, yet powerful. I loved using colouring, dancing and writing to channel my emotions - and integrate them in a way that was meaningful.

After each session I felt more alive and more accepting of myself as a human being worthy of exploring her light and her darkness.

My life transitioned quickly - especially after the third session - and my old patterns blocking me from accessing the love in my heart shifted quickly. I have been able to form deeper connections, explore more self care and admire my inner child more than ever before.

Furthermore - I learned how to embody my own emotions more holistically. Maya made me present to my gait when I was housing a certain feeling and held space for me to utilize my body through dance to effectively represent my inner world and what was occurring deeply.

I highly recommend Maya’s work if you are looking to process and integrate emotions you have been suppressing for a long time.
